Vesuvius Australia manufactures high-performance refractory products and systems for high-temperature industrial applications, including steelmaking and foundries, from its Port Kembla facility.

When it comes to those large jobs like trunks sewers it is hard to beat the corrosion resistance of a nearly “100%” CAC. It’s even harder to beat the stunning shotcreting technology and experience that Vesuvius brings to our industry. So together Vesuvius and Cemspec are a partnership that can develop even better products.
This joint venture brings 2 very different backgrounds of shotcrete technology together. Vesuvius’ facilities allow us to make a product that is extremely harsh on most mixing equipment to a very high standard. Vesuvius normally being a refractory producer are used to a much higher standard than most in the construction industry. Add in-house application and training facilities at both Vesuvius and Cemspec and we have your training needs covered. Together we can explain every step of the process, what to expect, how to resolve issues and why all of this is so important.
