GGVSV

GGVSV contains both Calcium Aluminate Aggregate and Cement for excellent Biogenic corrosion and abrasion resistance. With a maximum aggregate size of 2.5mm it will go through most regularly used pumping and spraying systems with relative ease. Available in 20kg or bulk bags.

Unlike the alternatives GGVSV uses 50% Alumina CAC aggregate and not 40%. This not only improves corrosion resistance but also helps with shrinkage and heat generation.

Cemspec is proud to announce its Joint Venture Partner. This partnership brings the first-class manufacturing needed to make products made from CAC. It also adds a training facility second to none. With application accreditation now on offer, there is no need to “wing it” with a contractor with no experience. These products can be unforgiving to the uninitiated.

Vesuvius, Our Joint Venture Partner, was founded in 1916 as the Vesuvius Crucible Company in Pittsburgh, USA. In Australia, Vesuvius has been operational for over 30 years, establishing a significant presence in the region. Vesuvius’s CAC manufacturing experience is ideally suited for making CAC mortars and shotcrete for the Wastewater industry.

Training and Accreditation

Together with our Joint Venture Partner, we now offer training and accreditation. CAC shotcretes are difficult to use and can take some practice and guidance to get right. This is not an online course masquerading as training, but a comprehensive program generally only offered to Refractory applicators but modified to suit the wastewater industry.
